Are foldable chairs outside use only?

Foldable chairs can actually be far more comfortable and fancy looking than you would imagine and they therefore can easily be used inside as well as outside of the home. While they obviously would not replace a sofa, they can easily be used as seats for your dining room table. Are most foldable chairs waterproof?

It all depends what type you buy but it is possible to get many different types of foldable chairs that are indeed waterproof. There are many that come complete with waterproof cushions. It is worth noting though that wooden foldable chairs do need to be painted with waterproof veneer if you are going to leave them out for weeks at a time, some come already painted but not all do. Many even come with canopies so they can even offer you protection from the rain.

There are indeed many different types. The most common foldable chairs are foldable armchairs but you can also get side chairs, foldable dining chairs and even foldable chairs with leg rests. They also often come complete with various additional features such as drink holders and canopies.

It is possible to get them incredibly cheaply. Many home and DIY shops often have sales so you can usually get a good deal if you buy a set together with a table. Of course the usual pattern of things being cheaper online does not apply due to the fact that they would cost so much to ship.
